I had my tubes removed on Monday. I feel fine – barely even taking ibuprofen for pain. Was walking around the day after.
Well, my husband keeps telling me there were a lot more post op instructions given to him verbally. Like no drinking for a week for example bc of concerns about blood thinning. He’s also insisting I’m supposed to be lying down constantly.
But, walking isnt painful at all. My written instructions just say no alcohol for first 24 hours or while taking opioid pain meds.
Only thing I can figure is that most women are more overweight and it causes a longer recovery?
I’m just really frustrated about restrictions that seem totally pointless.
